Results of the 6th Russian Cultural Congress: Preserving Russia's Cultural Identity
From October 30 to November 1, 2024, the 6th Russian Cultural Congress, titled “Cultural Identity in the Space of Tradition and Innovation,” was held in Moscow at the D.S. Likhachev Russian Research Institute for Cultural and Natural Heritage. Organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation with leading scientific and educational organizations, the congress gathered over 500 participants.
The section "Cultural Geography: Theories and Practices," moderated by Irina Alexandrovna Zhernosenko from the Altai State Institute of Culture, discussed preserving cultural landscapes, historical and cultural values, and ethnocultural diversity across Russia, with a particular focus on the Siberian Federal District.

The congress highlighted the importance of preserving Russia's cultural identity and heritage, as well as involving youth in cultural education and exploring historical values.
