MUIV discussed the use of ESG strategies in social entrepreneurship

On September 24, the Ryazan branch of the S.Y. Witte Moscow University hosted a round table on the topic "Application of ESG strategies within the framework of business models of social entrepreneurship." The event was organized in the framework of interaction with the participants of the Consortium "Sustainable Development" and brought together entrepreneurs of the region.

ESG strategies (ecology, social responsibility and management) are an approach that helps companies to be more responsible. The participants of the round table discussed how this approach can be applied in business to help society and develop social entrepreneurship.

Experts and entrepreneurs such as Tereshina E.V. (General Director of Meshchersky Scientific and Technical Center LLC) and Gavrunin S.V. (General Director of Invest-Agro LLC), as well as teachers and students of the university took part in the discussions.

Representatives of the Departments of Economics and Finance, Business and Management of the MUIV played a special role in the event: O.I. Shvaika (Head of the Department of Economics and Finance), Yu.B. Kostrova (Head of the Department of Business and Management) and others, who made presentations and actively discussed the application of ESG strategies in social business.

As a result of the meeting, a resolution was adopted on the implementation of ESG strategies in the business model of social entrepreneurship, which will help companies in the region become more sustainable and socially responsible.
