On September 26, an interuniversity seminar on the project "Values of sustainable development in the mission of the Northern University" was held at the Institute of Economics and Management of Syktyvkar State University named after P. Sorokin. This project is supported by a grant from the Witte Moscow University.

The seminar brought together more than 50 people: university management, faculty, sustainability experts and students to discuss how universities can support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These are important goals that help save the planet and improve people's lives.

The scientific director of the project, Professor G.A. Knyazeva, spoke about the global Agenda 2030 program and how education plays a key role in achieving these goals. Anastasia Shevchuk, a graduate student, presented the university's strategy for the coming years, which includes tasks for sustainable development until 2032.

The main goal of the seminar is to involve young people in projects that really change the world. The participants were told about the available opportunities to participate in these initiatives, which helps not only in their studies, but also in future employment.
