Seminar "Homeostatic mechanisms of biological systems"

28 May 2025 On May 28, 2025, the seminar "Homeostatic Mechanisms of Biological Systems" was held (Moscow, Institute of Ecology and Evolution of the Russian Academy of Sciences). The organizer was the Center for Sustainable Development and Environmental Health of the IDB RAS. The co-chairman of the Moscow Club for Sustainable Development, V.M. Zakharov, delivered an introductory message and moderated it. Presentations were made in three areas, including ontogenesis, population, community, and ecosystem. As a result of the discussion, the importance of developing integrated approaches and indicators for studying the mechanisms of ensuring sustainability at different levels (including society) and their relationship was noted.
