Samara University Actively Expands Partnerships within the Global RCE Network: Education for Sustainable Development

From September 12 to 15, 2024, an important meeting of the Regional Centers of Expertise (RCE) in the Asia-Pacific region was held in Bishkek, organized by RCE Kyrgyzstan and the Kyrgyz State University named after Arabayev. The meeting focused on expanding education opportunities to achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: "Quality Education."

Samara State Technical University, which has hosted the RCE Samara Center since 2007, actively participated in the event. The university was represented by the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Anna Zotova. The meeting discussed key issues related to improving the quality of education, exchanging best practices, and implementing sustainable teaching methods.

Special attention was given to collaboration with international partners. Participants from Malaysia and Indonesia expressed interest in partnering with Samara University to work together on implementing educational initiatives in the field of sustainable development.

RCE Kyrgyzstan and RCE Samara, both active members of the "Sustainable Development" Consortium, continued to strengthen their cooperation, which began at the international congress "Malyshev Readings" in 2023.
