International Online Conference "Libraries and Environmental Education: Theory and Practice"

On October 31, 2024, the III International Online Conference "Libraries and Environmental Education: Theory and Practice" took place at the Russian State Public Scientific and Technical Library (GPNTB). The event was held as part of the International Professional Forum "Book. Culture. Education. Innovation" and brought together specialists in the field of environmental education.

About the Conference

The conference had over 140 participants connected individually or in groups. Among the speakers were experts from 18 regions of Russia, as well as from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

The discussions focused on modern approaches to environmental education, the role of libraries in fostering environmental awareness, and practical applications of theoretical knowledge.
