Malyshev readings: XVIII International Congress "Sustainable Development: Research, Innovation, Transformation"
On April 8-9, 2022, Malyshev Readings were held at the University: The XVIII International Congress "Sustainable Development: Research, Innovation, Transformation"
The conference was attended by more than 100 teachers and scientists from higher educational institutions, schools of the Russian Federation, the Donetsk People's Republic, the Republic of Belarus, Poland and France.
Senator of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Lyudmila Skakovskaya, Rector of the MUIV Semyonov Alexander Vyacheslavovich, Director of the FIT RAS Sokolov Igor Anatolyevich addressed the participants of the Congress with a welcoming speech.
An open and constructive dialogue to discuss current issues, achievements and research results in the field of sustainable development took place at the panel discussion "Sustainable development: priorities in education". The moderator of the panel discussion was Vladimir Mikhailovich Zakharov, Director of the Scientific and Educational Center for Sustainable Development of the MUIV. The panel discussion was conducted in three directions: "Sustainable development: problems and prospects"; "Sustainable development: priorities in the field of education"; "University as a model of education for sustainable development". Then the work took place in sections.
On the second day of the congress, a round table "Sustainable development: priorities in the field of education" was held. The round table was opened by the rector of MUIV Semenov A.V., who spoke about the development of the direction "Sustainable development" at the university. The speakers of the round table were employees of universities, research institutions, as well as representatives of NGOs. The presentations of the participants sparked an active discussion.
