Malyshev readings - 2023
The Malyshev Readings -2023 - XIX International Congress with elements of a scientific school for young scientists "Sustainable development: geopolitical transformation and national priorities" has ended at the Witte Moscow University.
The plenary session of the Congress was opened by Vladimir Mikhailovich Zakharov, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Director of the Scientific and Educational Center for Sustainable Development of S.Y. Witte Moscow University and Rector of S.Y. Witte Moscow University Alexander V. Semenov, outlining the key topics proposed for discussion: "On the way to sustainable development of Russia: Education, culture, business".
During the discussion, approaches to understanding the ideas of sustainable development in modern conditions were outlined, as well as projects and proposals for the implementation of sustainable development objectives in various fields.
The participants of the plenary session agreed that, despite external challenges, the planned projects and activities are being fully implemented, and there are still some opportunities for international scientific and practical activities to achieve the Goals of Sustainable Development. At the same time, the importance and need for the preparation and implementation of new educational projects in the field of sustainable development has increased significantly.
In particular, in order to expand cooperation between educational organizations of different regions and levels of education, it was proposed to conduct and publish informal monitoring of work on sustainable development.
After summarizing the results of the panel discussion, the participants continued the meetings on scientific tracks.
Scientific tracks:
- IT and digitalization of education as a goal of sustainable development;
- A new paradigm of sustainable development: territorial organization of the economy and ESG transformation;
- Sustainable development in Russia: the state of the legal field and legal practice;
- Management of the sustainable development of the Russian Federation in the context of global challenges and threats to economic security;
- The view of young scientists on the problems of sustainable development;
The second day was devoted to an extended meeting of the members of the consortium "Sustainable Development" and the Moscow Club for Sustainable Development.
The issues of the consortium's functioning, successful project implementation practices at universities and cultural organizations, as well as opportunities for expanding cooperation in the implementation of interregional and interdepartmental projects in the field of education and culture for sustainable development in Russia were considered.
On April 1, on the third day of the congress, the Strategic Session of the S.Y. Witte Moscow University "Ecoplanerka" was held.
The purpose of the meeting is to develop projects:
- The "Charter of Environmental Friendliness of the MUIV" is a document that sets out the principles and values for the development of environmental friendliness within the university.
- The "Green Change Roadmap" is a work plan for the implementation of the principles of environmental friendliness in the life of the university.
